APD offers services that help individuals with developmental disabilities live fulfilling and independent lives. Their services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each person, and they provide resources that support personal growth, community integration, and overall well-being. Here are some of the key things APD does:

This plan is for children with special health care needs. It provides a comprehensive system of care that’s centered around the family.
CMS Health Plan has partnered with WellCare of Florida, Inc. (WellCare) to provide managed care services to our members. WellCare is a licensed Florida health plan.

CDC+ is a long-term care program alternative to the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver. The program provides the opportunity for individuals to improve the quality of their lives by being empowered to make choices about the supports and services that will meet their long-term care needs and to help them reach their goals.

Medicaid provides medical coverage to low-income individuals and families. The state and federal government share the cost of the Medicaid program. Medicaid services in Florida are administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Medicaid eligibility in Florida is determined either by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) or the Social Security Administration (for SSI recipients). Visit this link for complete information.
